Parliament Of Owls This owl piece was recently juried into the 2011 Sidney
Fine Art Show. |
We live in the riding in which Elizabeth May is the member of
parliament. The Owl representing Elizabeth May is front and centre and
"green". The rather stern looking blue owl with big yellow eyes is the
prime minister. The leader of the NDP party, Jack Layton passed away while I was working on this quilt and he is represented by the orange owl in the upper left corner of the piece. He is watching over the parliament from above. |
